Our classwork is primarily completed in google classroom or Canvas. This page is an additional resource. *Parents- If you would like access to our google classroom page to monitor your child's work, please let me know and I can add you as a guardian.

Grading Parents should have access to PowerSchool on a daily basis. Please use this tool to monitor progress in the course. Email me if you have any questions about a specific grade.
Late and Missing Work Honors students may only submit MAJOR assignments late. All informal assignments will not be accepted after the due date.
Work not turned in will result in a zero.
Work turned in one day late will result in a 10% reduction of grade after assessment.
Work turned in two days late will result in a 20% reduction of grade after assessment.
Work turned in three days or later will not be accepted.

Tutoring
By appointment, tutoring will be offered each morning before school and on select afternoons. Priority will be given to those who have difficulty applying concepts studied in class. A twenty-four hour notice must be given in advance of a desired tutoring session to ensure the highest quality of individual instruction.
Rules and Expectations
To promote the most successful and accommodating academic environment, the classroom will be governed using the policies and procedures specific created for Sun Valley High School.
Sun Valley expects the highest standard of consistent performance and attendance from all of its students. Materials, methods, and expectations will be instituted to meet the needs of each student in addition to assessments, traditional and contemporary, designed to evaluate each student’s journey toward mastery.
